Welcome back from spring break! We are moving into our review unit for the EOG. Scholars who paid for the EOG book bundle at the beginning of the year will be receiving them shortly. All other scholars will have access to a digital copy and must copy out the problems and record their answers on paper. We will supplement the book with video lessons as well. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD HAS PAPER, PENCILS, AND THEIR AGENDA EVERY DAY!!! Let's finish the year strong.
Social StudiesScholars are studying the fall of Rome and the rise of the Byzantine Empire. This month, scholars will also study the major world dynasties and kingdoms. The Aztecs, Incas, and Mayas will also be studied. Scholars will complete a final project on the Middle Ages as we round out the year discussing the causes for the Dark Ages and the what Europe looks like following it. The IB theme for this unit is: Global interactions and demand for sustainability results in acquisition of new territories which leads to conflict and compromise. We will begin to review for the NCFE in early May.
